Email notifications can be fine tuned on a per-app basis to ensure that you get the best experience when it comes to notifying you regarding any incoming report or other important activities. 

The notifications settings can be reached through the Email Notifications section under the Profile configuration menu.
From there, you can set exactly what you'd like to receive email updates for.
