From your dashboard, you can create three different types of surveys:
Custom Survey – Gather specific feedback from users.
NPS Survey – Measure customer loyalty and satisfaction.
App Rating – Encourage users to rate your app on the store.
When publishing a survey or announcement, you can choose between manual or automatic targeting.
1. Auto Targeting
Allows you to show surveys automatically to users who meet certain criteria.
No code changes are required—everything is managed from the Instabug dashboard without involving engineering.
Ideal for targeting users based on behavior, app usage, or specific events.
2. CSV Targeting (Email-Based)
Enables you to upload a list of users via CSV to send surveys directly to their email.
Useful for reaching out to specific testers, beta users, or a predefined audience.
3. Manual Targeting
Lets you manually send surveys to selected users by a token provided from the dashboard that you can use your code.
Ideal for smaller, controlled tests or when you want to personally select recipients.
